Sam's 1st Haircut

Ok, so I got my first haircut yesterday, and to be honest I was scared to death! Christine did a great job of trying to keep me calm and happy, but I just didn't like the idea of having my long locks cut off. Mommy and daddy tried to sing and dance, give me cookies, give me a sucker, play with my Sesame Street characters and play videos on their phones to make me calm down, but it just didn't work! I was ready to go...but I do look pretty cute with my new hairdo!

Pretty Girl

Mommy has decided that I should get my "growing up" pictures beside my black and white rabbit...don't I look big already! I'm seven weeks old today and growing like a weed....I feed off of mommy all the time, and I let her know when I am hungry (and that is all the time!). I'm having a really good time wearing all of my new outfits, and I'm also enjoying my tummy time and rolling over. I just can't wait until I'm big enough to start playing with Sam!

Welcome, Jake LaRue Ovesen!

Roger and Theresa Ovesen are the proud parents of a new baby son, Jake LaRue Ovesen! Jake was born on February 22 and weighed 7lbs 8oz. He has a head full of hair, a great smile, and a really good appetite! Both baby and mommy are doing well...daddy Roger is doing well, too! Welcome to the world, Jake! Sam, Molly, Reed, Tate, Brady and everyone else will be ready to play with you very soon!

Man, I'm Tired!

I was so tired today that I fell asleep while I was sitting up instead of laying down...I was whooped! Of course, daddy was there to catch all of my head-bobbing....

Molly Rolling Over!

I finally rolled over when daddy was making a video of me! I did an even better one after daddy turned the camera off! I'm becoming such a big girl and I'm so proud of myself!

Evansville Trip!

I really enjoyed my first trip to Evansville! I know that Sam had been there several times, but this was new to me so I was sooo excited! It was so much fun visiting with Papa Pat and Cilla...I love them very much! I also got to meet Aunt Tiffany for the first time ever and that was nice! Hopefully we'll all be able to visit again soon!

Molly's First Valentine's Day

Molly and I had a great Valentine's Day! We ended up going to GG's house and hanging out with GG and Aunt Ruthie and Mamaw and Granddad and JP...we all watched basketball and ate pizza and breadsticks and had a great time! Molly got some nice stuff for Valentine's Day and so did I! Daddy got mommy an iPhone, and mommy got daddy tickets to the Ray Lamontagne concert in April. It was a great day for all of us!

Holy cow, I think I slept on my head this afternoon! When I woke up from my afternoon nap I had a really nappy hairdo going on...I kind of looked like the male models nowadays. I love my long hair, but I think I need a little trimmed around my ears sometime soon!

Molly's First Bath

Well, I had my first "real" bath last night and I just loved it! My mommy had all kinds of pink stuff for me...my towel was pink and my robe was pink and my rags were pink...there was pink everywhere! Mommy knows how to make me look like a little princess :) I heard all the stories about Sam's first bath but I am a lady, so I didn't poop and pee in my first bath! I was quite content and when I got done I was relaxed and ready to take a big, long nap. I can' wait for my next bath!

Worn Out!!

My brother Sam and I were both worn out with all the activity from the past week...you know, with all the ice and snow and people coming over to take baths and warm up and do laundry and just hang out. We had a great time, but it just wore us out! Sam was so tired that he fell asleep sitting up in his bed! I fell asleep sitting up in daddy's arms...whew, we were sooo tired!

Growing Like a Weed

Daddy took these pictures of me on Super Bowl Sunday...they aren't that flattering (he took the pictures from the wrong angle for my profile), but they do show that I am growing up really quick! I've already started doing tummy time and I'm lifting my head up like a big girl!

Goofing Off!!!

Mommy took these goofy pictures of me while we were stuck in the house during the ice storm! I love brushing my teeth, but mommy caught me sitting on my Elmo toilet brushing my teeth...I never do that! In the other picture mommy put those snow boots that I really don't like on my feet, and that is why I'm making this hideous face! We had fun, but being stuck in the house for 5 straight days makes all of us goofy! I know we were just fortunate to have electricity and heat and water the whole time....thank goodness!

Super Bowl Sunday

I just loved my first Super Bowl Sunday with mommy, daddy, Sam, Chelsi and Larry! We had so much fun (even though I took a bunch of naps)! I got to wear my brother Sam's Brady Quinn jersey...it made me look like a little princess! Sam wore his #1 jersey and looked like a superstar. I know that daddy and Larry really enjoyed the game...the Steelers and Cardinals really put on quite a show....football is fun! I can' wait until spring gets here so Sam and I can go outside and play in the yard...I know that mommy and daddy are excited about that!

Ice and Snow

I had a little fun out in the ice and snow with daddy! The ground was really hard because of all the ice, so it wasn't as fun as it could have been, but we still enjoyed ourselves. I'm not a big fan of my snow boots at all...I didn't really like riding on the snow donut, either, but I'm sure that the boots were the cause of all my discomfort! Having some time to play outside with daddy was fun, though! Hopefully we'll get more snow soon!
